To insure prompt payment of your medical or dental claim, please be sure that all questions are answered and all blank spaces are filled with an appropriate statement, to show that you have not overlooked answering any questions. When the claim form is mailed back to the insurance company, be sure to send it AIRMAIL if you are in a foreign country. Otherwise, it will take weeks for it to arrive back in the U.S.A. for payment. In every case, the insured should always follow up on any medical or dental claim submitted to be sure that the hospital or medical providers have been paid.
